Virtual Day Program
We are so excited to announce our Virtual Day Program (VDP) starting this fall!
How does VDP work?
Our Virtual Day Program will take place on Zoom. Participants will fill out a one-time registration form, which will sign them up to receive weekly schedules of our programs and special events. There is no participation requirement -- students are welcome to attend as many or as few classes as they'd like. Schedules will vary from week to week.
Who is VDP for?
All programs are open to individuals with disabilities ages 13 and up. VDP is best for individuals who are able to participate independently or with the assistance of an available caregiver. This program is intended to be a supplement while day hab centers and other available programs are closed, but it will offer no in-person care and is not a replacement for supervision.
What kind of programs will VDP offer?
Our Virtual Day Program participants will have access to a wide variety of activities, including vocational training, virtual field trips, life skills, cooking, crafts, music, and physical activities. Some activities will need supplies - participants and their families will be responsible for getting these. We will offer a supply list for activities at least one week before they are necessary.
How much does VDP cost?
All of our virtual programming is free. However, we do welcome donations to help us keep programming running. You are welcome to support our programs by donating here. We also have a monthly donation option.
